Wow – Over $500!
So thanks to yet more generous donations I’ve passed the $500 mark in sponsorship for 24 Games in 24 Hours. Wanted to say thanks again to everyone who’s helped out, and remind anyone who hasn’t yet that it’s not too late!

24 Hours Are Filling Up!
Amazingly enough I’m now getting close to my extended fund raising target – so far you guys & gals have donated a whopping $417, which is very exciting – THANK YOU! This also means the schedule is filling up (almost half gone already). If you want the chance to pick one of the games I’ll be playing you’d better hurry up. Hands On: Blur
Played some of the new Activision racing title “Blur” last night. Make no mistake - this is Need For Speed vs Wipeout. Actually an interesting idea, taking the street racing genre and adding weapons & powerups which are decidedly unrealistic.
Hands On: Tony Hawk RIDE
So this is the game with the crazy plastic skateboard. I got to watch it being demoed by an Activision guy – and then saw some journalists fall off. Repeatedly. The level of enthusiasm wasn’t exactly overwhelming to be honest (even N’Gai just wanted to watch the demo).

I Hit the Bigtime!
For the first time ever adamreeve.com is under an official embargo! I was at the Activision PAX media reception this evening where they were showing some of their new titles. Unfortunatly I can’t talk about them until tomorrow (due to aforementioned embargo), so for now I shall review their nibbles!
