On October 16th 2010 I’m once again going to be taking part in the Extra Life sponsored video game marathon. This year I’ll be raising money for children’s care and treatment at The Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital, in New Brunswick NJ through the Children’s Miracle Network. This is a 24 hour event, meaning I’m going to be playing games from 8am EST on Saturday all the way through to 8am EST Sunday with no breaks. Just like last year I’ll be playing 24 different games, one every hour (and you can even help choose what they’ll be if you donate).

Last year you helped me raise over $900, which was amazing. Let’s see if we can beat $1000 this time!

But Wait! There’s More!
To try and encourage some bigger donations, I’m throwing myself at your mercy. Anyone who donates a minimum of just $1 per hour (that’s $24 total) will be able to choose one of the games I play. It can be anything (subject to certain logistical restrictions) and you can even choose a time slot. To give you some ideas I’ve included last year’s picks in the table below, together with what’s been chosen so far for this year. I’m told that the sight of me dancing at 3am was particularly entertaining, for those watching at least.
Note: Any slots not filled by sponsors will be chosen by me closer to the date.
